- British Holistic Medical Association: Committed to a more holistic approach in healthcare and publishes the Journal of Holistic Healthcare
- Mike Bush(M): Mental health campaigner and activist. Very active in training and development around suicide prevention and self-care as well as the vital importance of supporting social workers’ own wellbeing
- CALM (Computer Assisted Learning for the Mind) – Dr Fiona Moir(M): the CALM website, a resource for stress management and happiness, which was originally made available to students and then later released to the public.
- College Of Medicine(CoM) – Helen Cooke(M), Innovators Network Lead and Dr Chris Manning(M): advocates for a new attitude to healthcare: one which forges partnerships across society, emphasises prevention, good food, exercise, and attention to the emotional as well as the physical. The CoM thinks everyone should be part of the conversation about health, not just a select professional elite. Helen
- Connecting with People – Dr Alys Cole-King(M): The trading name of the Open Minds Alliance CIC – a not-for-profit organisation formed to develop and deliver training packages for a range of sectors. Now joined with Stand to Reason and delivering a number of successful workplace programmes that have had significant and measurable impact on reducing sickness and absence and improving productivity
- Emotional Healing UK – Dr David Beales(M): Provides tools, techniques and strategies to understand, resolve and manage emotional issues – approaches that will restore self-esteem, self-management, health and wellbeing
- Founders Network: Aims to improve the organisational and working culture in the NHS
- Foundation for Positive Mental Health – Dr Alastair Dobbin(M): Dedicated to helping public and healthcare practitioners to improve their mental health and wellbeing through positive mental training
- Frameworks4Change – Andy Bradley(M): A compassionate and collaborative community contemplating the relationship between kindness and productivity and based on it being both ethically right to create work places where people flourish and also more efficient as happier healthier people is better for everyone
- Human Values in Healthcare – Dr Paquita de Zulueta(M): Seeking to uphold human values and dignity in healthcare and to foster and sustain the healing goals of medicine. Dr de Zulueta is a GP, Coach, CBT Therapist and Senior Honorary Lecturer – Imperial College London, London Deanery and Palace Gate Practice
- Patient Voices – Pip Hardy(M): Founded by social entrepreneurs Pip Hardy and Tony Sumner in 2003, it aims to facilitate the telling and the hearing of some of the unwritten and unspoken stories of ordinary people so that those who devise and implement strategy in health and social care, as well as the professionals and clinicians directly involved in care, may carry out their duties in a more informed and compassionate manner
- School of Commoning – Anna Betz(M): A growing worldwide community of people participating in the global and local commons and supporting the developing commons movement. Anna’s particular interest is in protecting Healthcare from enclosure and in supporting the right of everyone to optimal health. She is actively involved in a project called Living Medicine
- Martin Seager(M): Mental health campaigner and activist, with specific interest in mens’ health and psychologically evidence-based thinking and practice – at both individual and organisational levels. Responsible for AfNHSW Core Principle and Conditions
- The Soulful Doctor, Ms. Eunice Minford (M): Offers a unique combination of Services encompassing the whole mind, body, heart, spirit and soul complex. Provides lectures, presentations and workshops for medical students and workshops on the importance of self-care
- Westminster Centre for Resilience (WestCoR) – Prof. David Peters(M): A cross-University collaboration aimed at fostering resilience initiatives and integrating research and practice University-wide
